One final get-a-way this summer

Our last get away for this summer was a working trip to Oregon.  We had a great time with our very awesome, amazing, funny, friends, the Skillmans!  (Was that too much Stac?)  Oh well!
We worked (played) and worked (laughed) and worked (played) to pull off a beautiful wedding for their niece Danielle...did I mention they are slave drivers?  It all worked out though because "pay back" came in the form a mangled car thanks to our second born child.  You'll have to check Stacy's blog later for details.  We were there for 6 days and I have NO photos to show for it!  I never even took the camera out of its case!

Stacy took 2 photos of me.  One in front of a very mild "hippy van".  Trust me folks, they are usually WAY more "hippy" than this but I was running out of time to capture the flavor of Oregon.

And this one was a photo of my shock and awe that Oregon still has regular light bulbs available to buy and they were ONLY .99!
Oregon is one of the most beautiful states in our union but it was captured by liberal crazies long ago.  It's not all bad.  They are fun to watch... kind of like the chimps at the zoo.

We had a blast working hard and hardly working, seeing old friends and neighbors, staying up way too late talking, sharing, laughing and playing.  Thanks Skillman family, WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
