Yesterday, we drove a car load of Boy Scouts up to Wyoming. They have been planning this canoeing trip for several months and it was even postponed once because the run off was too high and too cold. They decided to wait a month for the rivers to calm down a little before taking a bunch of fearless boys down it. Good call!
The boys had to pack everything they needed into a couple of 5 gallon buckets. This included their sleeping bags, clothes, shoes, mess kit, snacks and bug repellant. Everything had to fit into 2 buckets.

These camels weren't too thrilled with being locked up. They kept making strange sounds. |
