Oh, remember those days of sending your girls off to church camp, hoping that they will have tons of fun with a bunch of Spirituality mixed in? I think something has changed or gone terribly wrong. This is how Amanda left for girls camp this morning. Each day, Amanda and Grace decided that there should be a "theme" and they would dress accordingly.
I'm not sure what today's theme is, but here is the outfit (I use this term loosely):
|
Yup, totally gone! |
|
Jeffrey: "Boys don't dress up for camping!" |
|
Poor Becca. Like a lamb to the slaughter... |
|
My nervous "1st year" and her nutty "last year" sister. |
Dave and Jeffrey decided to go on a camping trip of their own while the girls are gone. They didn't feel the need to "dress up". Boys don't do that!!
|
Notice Jeffrey on his tippy toes? He's trying to be as tall as his dad and Dave is pulling on his shorts to get him back down. |
So...I am all by myself! What am I doing to keep busy? Projects/chores with a little fun mixed in.
Today I emptied out my pantry, lined the shelves and re-organized it. It looks so good I had to take some pictures because I know once the kids get home, it won't last long.
Here are the before photos:

Starting from scratch... |

What a mess! |

I have WAY too much junk! |
I found the cutest shelf paper at Target. It made me happy!

It all fit! Amazing! |
Tomorrow= another project.

ReplyDeleteSharie, I love you most when you're abuzz with a project. You're in your element.
ReplyDeleteCan Amanda bring that outfit out for the wedding and would she wear it help park cars?? I think it's waaaaay more scandalous than the Road Runner. She's bonafide.
oh yeah, and bring your extra shelf paper. My pantry is jealous.
