The End of Volleyball

Today was a good day for volleyball.  It's been a wee bit chilly up here in the mountains.  That's not complaining, just stating a fact.  Anyway, Amanda's volleyball team squeaked into the state playoffs this year which was really good considering the school is only 3 years old. They've had their ups and downs throughout the season but they've managed to keep it together long enough to make it this far.

To say there are big personalities on her team would be an understatement. It's been interesting being up here in an area that is so competitive, watching some of the them jockeying for positions to potentially play college ball, while others (like Amanda) who are just happy to being playing now and not really looking to take it to the next level.  She did briefly consider it but then she realized that she wanted something else for her life.  For now, she is focused on college and perhaps law school.  We'll see what she decides, but for now she can take a deep breath and know that she left it all on the court today.  Here are some final pictures of Amanda's volleyball "career".

That's her, wiping the bottom of her shoe?

The blurr is Amanda serving the ball

Chow time!

Yup, they are in the hallway at UVU

CC and Braxton.  Two of her besties

This is the gym they played in.  Four games at the same time! Loud!!

Not sure how this happened but Danni rolled over Amanda!
